In INSPIRE ME: RAW,  Sonia Lozada reveals the unspoken hidden moments, speaking courage and faith for all to move on. Traveling through the lands of her life from Chicago to Los Angeles, Lozada’s unique bi-cultural perspective captures incidents and images of rough terrain with honesty and wry acceptance. As a singer and performer, she moves her words through the body and soul; and by giving a glimpse into our spirits’ reconciliation with difficult days, her deft words lighten all our paths.

From alternative punk recording to mainstream television and movies, Sonia Lozada has always been at the heart of contemporary creative work.  The founder and publisher of LOZT Magazine in the 80’s, and a performer in bands, she became an actor on both stage and in film. Her other passions include design, decoration, and spiritual development.  She’s been writing poetry since she learned how to write, but this is her first published collection; she hopes these poems can help others experience they are not alone.
