Being visual is about letting people know you’re available and approachable (maybe, not so much from the picture). I have found it difficult to be visual when I haven’t booked anything for some time. What do I talk about? All the self-tapings I recorded but didn’t book? Being visual can be as simple as keeping up your website, social media, and YouTube channel. When not acting create your own. I’ll be following my own advice. I haven’t had time to record myself unless it’s for a self-tape. I have the material, so what is stopping me? I think for me it’s because I feel I have to make the production a PRODUCTION. I don’t need to redecorate my apartment. I can just do a simple scene. The idea is to be seen – not enter a home decorating contest. I’m giving more time to this. I have a podcast to which I have given a great amount of time to my guests. The next season of my podcast will be reflective without so many guests. I overdid it on season two of the Poetic Resurrection Podcast, with weekly guests. I’m also going to be co-hosting a new podcast to launch in Sept 2021 which is fun and quirky. That’s enough for now. Check back next week for a new blog posting of whatever I’m thinking and doing.
