Theater, Commercial and My Podcast

This week I had two self-tapes, one for a theater play and the other for a commercial. The commercial is describing who I am and that was great. As an actor most of the time you’re expected to be someone else. This is what acting is but to be able to speak up about the issues or passions you have in an audition is rare and very much appreciated.

The second audition was for a theater play which I normally don’t pursue but I was asked to audition for a play with a great script. I was honored to be asked to audition. Even if I don’t get it, it was a pleasure to be asked to read an enticing script.
